We’re partnering with a high-performing real estate investment manager to appoint a Senior Facilities Manager into their internally managed platform.

This is a rare opportunity to join a business that owns and manages its facilities function in-house, allowing for greater control, faster decision-making, and a genuine focus on driving asset performance.

The Opportunity

• Oversee a diversified commercial portfolio (office, retail, mixed-use)
• Work within a fully integrated, in-house facilities management model
• Partner directly with Asset Management & Investment teams
• Drive operational performance, tenant experience, and asset optimisation
• Play a key role in capex projects, repositioning, and value-add initiatives

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end facilities management across a commercial asset portfolio
• Manage contractors, maintenance programs, and compliance (no external FM layer)
• Oversee budgets, outgoings, and operational expenditure (OPEX)
• Ensure compliance across WH&S, fire safety, and statutory requirements
• Support capex works, refurbishments, and asset repositioning projects
• Drive initiatives to improve efficiency, sustainability, and tenant outcomes
• Work closely with leasing and asset teams to support occupancy and performance

About You

• Proven experience in Facilities Management across commercial assets
• Background within client-side, property funds, or in-house FM structures highly regarded
• Strong understanding of building operations, compliance, and contractor management
• Experience managing budgets, capex projects, and multiple stakeholders
• Commercial mindset with the ability to enhance asset performance
• Confident communicator, comfortable working closely with senior stakeholders
